Just a quick blog to say well done to all the Olympic and Paralympic athletes this summer for their fantastic performances that have inspired a generation!! It was great to see some events personally and witness the feel good factor it created across the country. Your dedication is a true model for excellence for all.

Also congratulations to Andy Murray who demolished his demons after four unsuccessful grand slam final matches to win the US open last night, well done Andy for adding mental strength to his considerable talents. All of the UK are proud of you.
